Here’s what I’ve been up to in my studio since returning from Berlin — using pieces of art and writing from a collection of my daughter’s school work and scribbles and little scraps of marks and drawings that are providing the inspiration for the paintings below. I am excited to expand this series and will be doing a residency in Vermont starting mid-October for some concentrated time in a large studio, right after celebrating Anna’s 25th birthday!

Here are a few of the paintings I’ve been working on the past several months (photos using my iPhone), including two I’ve been reworking that were started a couple of years ago when I was at a residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Still a mystery where I will take my work after the Berlin residency and my dive into the Transart experience!
